Founder's Vision | Fatima University Medical Center

Our Lady of Fatima Hospital was established in 1967 by Mr. Jose C. Olivares, a Chemistry professor and his son-in-law Dr. Vicente M. Santos, an Obstetrician.

Their vision was to become a primary provider of medical services in the city of Valenzuela and neighboring towns and to create a medical complex that will be the training ground for future doctors and healthcare workers.

From a mere 25-bed general hospital, Fatima University Medical Center  grew to what is now a 150-bed, tertiary healthcare facility offering a range of treatment and the best possible care for its patients.

In the last 52 years, Fatima University Medical Center has been at the forefront as a healthcare provider in the CAMANAVA (Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, and Valenzuela) area. FUMC has established a reputation for outstanding medical quality, high level of patient satisfaction, and efficient service.

The legacy of the founders of FUMC continues with the launch of the second branch in Antipolo, Rizal.

FUMC Antipolo opened its doors to the public on February 2018. It is a DOH-accredited tertiary hospital with a 100-bed capacity and world-class facilities.
